Works should be dated 2004–2006. The competition accepts separate artists as well as groups of artists for participation. No special format or printing techniques are required. No participation fee. Number of entries is unlimited. Entry Form and Entry Label must be filled in print letters. The work titles must be translated to English. One label per entry must be attached in the back of pieces with adhesive tape (no glue!). Make a copy of the Entry Form if necessary or print it out from Biennale website. In order to be reproduced in the catalogue, all works should be supplied with slides, transparencies or electronic versions on CD (in TIFF formats, 300 dpi, 30 cm on the lager side, CMYK + fonts). The names of work’s authors, selected for participation, will be published by the Selection Committee on the Biennale website. Neither work nor transparencies will be returned. They remain in Golden Bee Biennale collection. Organizers have the right to use work from the competition for non-commercial purposes free of charge.

Attention
All shipping and insurance costs must be paid by participants. The organizing committee will not be able to receive your works, if you estimate your mailing unit at more than $20 if sent by regular mail or $5 if sent via express mail (DHL, Federal Express etc). Please, do not estimate your works at a sum above the indicated one!

Entry Categories


(1). Posters
Posters of all kinds and genres. No restrictions on theme, size or printing technique.

(2). Books
Overall concept, cover, grid, decorative elements and design of books, albums, catalogues and booklets.

(3). Calligraphy
Any graphic design projects, based on traditional as well as modern or experimental calligraphy.

Main exposition
The main exhibition of Golden Bee Biennale will take place in the Central House of Artists (September 1–8, 2006). The exhibition will be open every day except for Monday

Exhibition program
In September 3–8 Golden Bee Biennale will take place in the Central House of Artists parallel to Design and Polygraphy exhibition. Biennale program includes exhibition of the international jury members, one-man show of David Tartakover (Grand-Prix Winner of Golden Bee 6) from Israel and a number of accompanying exhibitions and actions in Moscow museums and galleries.

Workshops
September 6th, 2004, 12AM–6PM Members of the International jury will give lectures in the auditorium of Central House of Artists.

Awards Ceremony
The awards ceremony will take place on September 7th, 2006 at 6PM in the Central House of Artists’ Concert Hall.
